Steve & Kate’s Camp Pasadena — Day Camp at Walden School
Self-directed summer days where kids choose their own activities, friends, and pace.

Held on the Walden School campus, Steve & Kate’s Camp lets campers choose which activities they do, whom they do them with, and for how long. Activities include stop-motion animation, coding, robotics, media lab, tinker lab, sewing salon, bakery, sports and recreation, water play, camp traditions, weekly specials, and gameroom.
Staff are background-checked and trained in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid, with dedicated Youngest Camper Support Staff for arrivals who need extra time to settle. A separate Mentorship Program for ages 14 and 15 lets older kids develop leadership skills. Financial aid is available.
Day Passes are $129 per day; the Summer Pass covers up to 39 days for $3,420. Camp is closed July 3, 2026.
Unused Passes are automatically refunded by September 18, 2026.

South Pasadena Educational Foundation Summer Camps
Nine weeklong programs across sports, arts, science, languages, and leadership.

South Pasadena Educational Foundation (SPEF) Camps offer weeklong summer programs covering sports, arts, science, languages, and leadership. Campers try new things, challenge themselves, and learn from experienced instructors in a supportive environment. The goal is for every camper to leave more confident, capable, and connected to peers.
Camps run on the South Pasadena High School and South Pasadena Middle School campuses, taught by district teachers, professional coaches, and trusted partners including the Dodgers Training Academy, AC Green, and Brit-West Soccer. Available camps: AC Green Basketball, Art Exploration, Baseball and Softball, Cooking, Dance and Cheer, Mandarin Language, Science Exploration, Soccer, and Tennis and Pickleball. Tuition assistance is available for South Pasadena Unified School District students and South Pasadena residents with financial need.
